Paws and Ponder

Volunteer status: Not needed for this event.
This is a private event. We will be taking our ambassador dog to Windsor to meet with some of the residents. They will get to give her cuddles, treats, and tell stories about their own pets. Bonding with an animal can lower anxiety, help treat depression and release oxytocin in the brain. This form of therapy is great for our seniors. It promotes interaction, alertness and smiles. Creating a calm and enjoyable social moment for everyone.
Dinner Fundraiser

Location: Good Liquid Parrish Creekside commons
Volunteer status: not needed
Come join us for dinner to support the sanctuary.
10% of all sales from 5-8pm will be donated to the nurture nest. Every penny matters when it comes to care for our residents. Meet the team and enjoy a night out with us!
Guided sanctuary educational tour
Date & time: Selected bi-weekly Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: NurtureNestSanctuary grounds, Parrish, Florida
Volunteer status: Volunteer guides welcome
Walk through our peaceful sanctuary grounds to hear inspiring rescue stories and learn about our lifelong resident care. Pre-registration is mandatory for all visitors and volunteer guides. Once your RSVP form is received, our staff will schedule a short confirmation call with directions and safety guidelines.
